The Claycord Online Museum – Frank Sinatra & Don Rickles At The Concord Pavilion

Published: Last Updated on 11 comments

Thanks so much to Tim Score for this ticket stub from a 1990 show featuring Frank Sinatra and Don Rickles at the Concord Pavilion.

Did anyone out there go to this show? How was it?

And can you believe 1990 was 32 years ago?

Of all the people in show biz I miss Don Rickles. How great would it be to see him perform to the woke.

Hahaha! I’d pay double to see that!

Rickles would be excellent at deprogramming WOKERS. Of course there would be a certain stress to it………..

Ha ha … great timing … I just got home from a night on the town … in Ho Chi Minh City … sang “My Way” at the Japanese karoke club. Don is hilarious … !!!

I was working at the Pavilion and saw both of them backstage. As I recall, Pia Zadora was the opening act.

Of course if Don Rickles performed there today his show would be protested for being too insensitive.

KBB March 3, 2022 - 10:22 AM

Exactly! He probably would not be invited to perform. He also doesn’t fit the profile.

As a sidenote, they still use the same computer system (Ticketmaster) for ticketing there.

And also, Rickles performed up until his final breath, with no complaints from anyone.

Just watched “its a mad mad world” free on youtube.

Almost every comedian from way back was in it. My friend laughed hystetically. It was fun identifyingvwho was who, as I only knew them as pretty old.

Thanks to Gavin Newsom and the democrats, we
neither Frank Sinatra or Don Rickles will ever perform there again.
