About 1,500 people are without power along N. Main St. between Treat Blvd. and Ygnacio Valley Rd. in Walnut Creek this afternoon.
Power is expected to be restored at 2:15 p.m.
The cause of the outage hasn’t been determined.

We live in the Creek and our power went out at four this morning, came back around six thirty I think. When the power went out the telephone and radio made a noise and it woke me up just in time to see the telephone light go out. Don’t know how big an area went out. PG and E know nothing about it so it seems.
Just when I thought I could get into the Chic-fil-a parking lot…..noticed flagman in the driveway…..drat the luck….power out…
The power went out due to someone hitting a power line outside the holiday inn express on N. main St.
