At exactly 9p maybe three blocks from here, some homesick Eastern Seaboard transplant set off precisely 3 firecrackers. Sigh…. yeah, buddy, I still change years on that time zone, too.
Then at exactly midnight PST, there was a barrage of normal, non-battle grade fireworks from Lilac Court. And a soft answering rally from somewhere near Bailey Rd./ Myrtle Dr..
Quite decent really. Now it’s lights-out with hopes that no one near us originally hails from Hawaii!!!

That B2 over the Rose Parade was Bad Ass…God Bless America…
This this year’s Rose Parade was a good one, some really elaborate and beautiful floats. I AM disappointed over the street show at the end, a trend that I hope doesn’t continue. I’d rather see the parade. The Macy’s parade has become an almost nonstop street show and the outdoor venue makes it difficult for performers to keep time and places. Again, I’d rather see the parade.
