No, I work from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at SunValley Mall, I have a feeling we wont be that busy. Anyway I’m not a sports fan, especially not football, baseball, and basketball. When I was married I use to go to Super bowl parties, because my ex and some of our friends were watching the Super Bowl, but I never really cared much who won.
To Silva, no I don’t work on commission, very few retail establishment pay commission these days. I think Nordstrom’s still might. Macy’s pay commission in certain departments, fine jewelry, shoes, and cosmetics the vendor pays commission. Anyway one of two slow days won’t really matter if you are in a busy department. Macy’s use to pay 6% commission on what you sold over your daily pay, I would make more money if I was on commission. However when you work on commission on a sales floor with other sales personal, it makes for a very competitive and at times unfriendly environment.

If the score is relatively close at halftime, I’ll tune in. I’ll catch the commercials next week on youtube. By the way, Treat is CLOSED westbound at Bancroft. Noon Sunday. Lots of police.

No, I have -20 interest in sports or the super bowl even though I come from an athletic family. My dad wanted to be a high school or college coach but the Depression put an end to that. He only liked to watch college football anyway and had no interest in professional sports.

Yes, it has two pretty well matched teams. These two teams deserve to be there. Probably 14/13 San Francisco, or 14/13 Chiefs, going to be close….

Yes, with 20 other people. Can the Niners win by keeping the ball out of the Chiefs’ middle? Yes.

Let’s hope the power stays on during it. It has gone out twice for a couple of brief periods because of the winds. (Then the box takes about 5 to 10 minutes to reboot each time. )
Go Niners!

Nope. Perfect day to be out and about with less people.
I look forward to Mondays Water Cooler topic where all of the whiners want the government to make the day after StuporBowl a holiday.
yeah, kinda turned into an NFL hater…. Ever since they turned into the PFL with all the political B.S. a few years back that KapperDinky started….. And… We’ve already been warned about excessive political candidate ad’s to air during the game. I use to watch games for the same reason I read a book or catch a good movie; relaxation etc… The PFL ruined it for me.
Yes, there was a power outage in the whole building. It affected Fresh Box and Burger King too.

I did and I enjoyed it. Been better if the local sports-doing team had won, but still better than basketball which is all we have until pitchers and catchers. Halftime show was okay, seen worse. I was introduced to the term moose-knuckle. And I’m not better for it. There was some clumsy political messages, would have preferred that was absent, but all told, good Super Bowl.

A couple of iffy if not bad calls, but I thought it was a very watchable game. Does anyone else appreciate how football players once again have necks, and look a lot more human and less super-heavy tankish compared to a decade ago? Lithe, sinewy physiques are back. Yeah!
What Super bowl? Who’s playing?
no
No, I rather clean the Toilet Bowl than watch it.

It sounds like my kind of time for shopping, Hanne! I hope you don’t work on commision for these kind of days though.😉
