The “Water Cooler” is a feature on Claycord.com where we ask you a question or provide a topic, and you talk about it.
The “Water Cooler” will be up Monday-Friday at noon.
Today’s question:
QUESTION: Did you vote today? If so, did you vote “yes” or “no” on Measure J and Prop.13?
Talk about it.
I did vote today.
But I surrendered my ballot to vote another ballot.
The person I had voted for is no longer running.
Which of the unqualified democrats did you vote for. I hope it wasn’t Beato. Just joking.
Only a masochist would vote yes on either one. I did vote today. I hope everyone voted for the republican woman running against De Saulnier.
Absolutely!
Ricardoh ~
Yep, I voted for her too.
Did you think she was pretty impressive at her recent speech at the San Ramon Islamic center? I thought she was pretty good after they figured out how to get a mic from the male side to where she was. They wouldn’t let her just come over to use the “boy’s” mic. So typical.
I Did, Vote Mark the Puppet out !

She got my vote! Fenstermacher, too.
It’s time for DeSaulnier to go. Vote him out!
No & No
BIG NO’s on both!!!
I voted No on both.
I voted a couple of weeks ago. When I dropped off my ballot, they told me I was the first person to vote in Concord.
I will always vote no on any measure or proposition that will raise taxes. Every election they want more money for schools, what are they doing with all of the money the voters have already approved of? The same with transportation, we’re already paying through the nose and the roads are getting worse after every rainfall.

Did mail in ballot a while back,…No on J & 13.
Voted NO!!! on both.
Yes I did vote No and No And MAGA to all of you.
No on 13, no on J, No on De Salunier.
No on both. The public is tapped out. We can’t be thought of as an ATM the legislators can go for money any time they. They’ve made some bad mistakes such as overly generous pensions that anyone with a brain would ask how those could even work.
Yes, No, No
No, No and anybody but DeSaulnier.
He’s PROVEN to be extremely ineffective at anything other than stupid, time wasting, unnecessary and silly legislation that nobody needs or wants. His role is redundant anyway, since I can just read Pelosi’s comments firsthand rather than wait for Mark to restate them using simpler words.
Ditto, and an accurate portrayal of DeSaulnier.
Ditto
Mark won again! He is fabulous and has done a terrific job.
The only reason that deslacker won is that he’s an entrenched politician that has a death grip on every single democrat (naive) voter, who vote the straight party ticket….. solely because his district is overwhelmingly democrat.
He has done NOTHING of significance.
Until the voters and politicians learn to think about the greater good, then you’ll continue to have idiots voting idiots into office…. and those politicians will do whatever they can to stay in office.
Popcorn- it’s ok if you continue to delude yourself. I’m sure marky appreciates your slobbering support.
No and No
Is about time liberal politicians and their unelected, unaccountable minions learn . . .
No & No.
Voted. No on both.
No and No
KAG 2020
I was in voting system as incorrect political party – even though I had changed parties – when getting a Drivers License Renewal (and a Passport Card). I was able to request a “change” at polling location – voted – and was asked to put form and ballot in a cloth “box” (let’s see if it sticks this time).
No and No.
No and no. And no for DeSaulnier!!!
Going right after work, will vote no on both. We’ve voted for these things over and over and over again and never see any benefit, time to starve the monster.
Voted no on both
Voted for Bernie, voted yes on J and no on 13. Half a cent sales tax I can live with, seeing my property tax go up anymore? Sorry. Want to fix our schools? Invest directly into the teachers. Make being a teacher a lucrative job where you have people lining up to be a teacher. Yes, we want passionate teachers, but when a person can make way more money in the private sector, why be a teacher? Also, stop protecting bad teachers. Do those two things and you’ll see our schools begin to improve dramatically.
Yes, no on both.
I vote NO on Prop 13 and J
No and No.
Prop 13 & measure J are the usual tax propositions that the politicians and special interests use to pad their wallets with hollow promises. It’s refreshing to see how many people can see thru their ruse…we can only hope that others can see this as obvious….
Yes, voted last week, for Tulsi Gabbard. It doesn’t look good Her, but I have no regrets, my mind was made up 6 months ago. Oh-well. I held my nose and voted for Trump in 2016, and I’ll do the same in 2020.
It’s NO, on J and 13, and I also voted for various Dems and Repubs.
Yes, voted NO on both.
Voted no on Both for obvious reasons. NO to Markie the puppet also.
Vited NO on both of them. already woken up
