And this is still news because ???

Just curious, how many of those testing positive are incarcerated in our local jails?

Zero..they were all released

How come the media has said nothing about the other strains of flu that are out there?

Because COVID is not the flu. Show me a scientific article that says COVID is comparable to the flu.

@ ChuckStir ~
Get were you are coming from about the Flu(s). It’ll be a matter of time and, sadly, we will be wearing mask for that, plus, might even have SIP orders.

The denominator keeps getting better and the product keeps getting smaller: 1.2%.

I’ve noticed the number of active cases going up in the past 2-3 weeks but no decrease at all. Or are people talking much longer than 3 weeks to recover? Is the health department system updated?

The number of active cases is roughly the number of new cases in the last 14 days. The number of new cases per day has been increasing which is driving the number of active cases up. As there are more active cases it becomes more likely that people will get infected which drives the number of new cases up.

I have added a new graph at the top of https://imgur.com/a/RSQK6hP that shows the number of new cases vs. active cases to show how they line up.

Remember a short time back, when the deaths were way down in the teens and 20s? All the deniers were SO flippant then, and where are they now? Still flippant, only now we have 86 deaths. So many deniers, acting just like a defiant 4 year old child, “I’ll do as I please, no one is going to tell ME what to do”.

Now you’re getting it. Keep up the hard work and you will be an American in no time

Things are just getting worse ! Things should just go back to stage 1 where everyone was at home SAFE .

Are you being serious? Certainly you jest! Can you do simple arithmetic?

“Those who would trade a pound of security for an ounce of freedom deserve neither”

Well I am glad they are enforcing masks it will stop all the arguing. I just dont know how they will have enough police power to challenge anyone not wearing?
