According to the Concord Police, the report shown above only includes approved reports. Some burglary reports might not be written or completely approved, which is why they are not included in this post.

It looks like the burglers are not getting arrested. They seem to be a big problem.

It doesn’t matter if they get arrested or not. The DA won’t prosecute them which means the jail won’t hold them. Burglary is a “non-violent offense” which means our current system doesn’t hold anyone accountable for it.

Maybe they’re committing less burglaries. With less cars in public, and more people at home. Or maybe people are finally wising up and not leaving a bunch of crap in their cars.
