Three Bay Area men were arrested this week and more than $150,000 in merchandise was seized following the investigation of a large retail theft in Reno, the Golden Gate Division of the California Highway Patrol said.

When clothing worth an estimated $50,000 was stolen recently from a Lululemon store in Reno, some of the five suspects were recognized by store loss prevention investigators as repeat offenders with ties to the Bay Area, the CHP said.

The retailer contacted the Organized Retail Crime Task Force, which includes the CHP, the San Francisco Police Department and the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office, which executed search warrants Thursday in San Francisco and Antioch, officials said.

Three suspects were arrested and $150,000 in suspected stolen merchandise, $7,000 cash and a handgun were recovered.

“The recovered merchandise included clothing, cosmetics, purses and sunglasses from multiple retailers including Lululemon, Macy’s, Nordstrom, Victoria’s Secret, JCPenney, Sunglass Hut, Solstice Sunglasses, Ulta Beauty, Sephora, Burberry, Sax Off 5th, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Gucci, Channel,” and other retailers, the CHP said.

Mario Omar Cisneros-Cruz, 41, of San Francisco; Owen Omar Cisneros-Rodriguez, 19, of San Francisco; and Saul Garcia Hernandez, 28, of Antioch were arrested and booked for organized retail crime, possession of stolen property, grand theft, and theft of lost property, the CHP said. Hernandez was also booked for carrying a loaded firearm.

“It is our task force’s mission to detect, deter and dismantle organized retail crime,” CHP Lt. Kevin Domby of the ORCTF said in a statement.

The task force has an organized retail crime tip line at (510) 957-8247.

A bad guy from antioch carrying a gun is no surprise.
Across state lines, … what is a surprise is liberal SF DA bothering to be involved.

Let’s hope these model citizens will not be on trial in San Francisco, or they will ripping of more retail outlets before you can blink. Hopefully some day rampant criminal activity in the greater Bay Area and beyond will be illegal again, with repercussions to follow. Vote responsibly…..

@whoe Jim
Vote responsibly???
Never underestimate the stupidity of the California voter.

I hope one day the liberals wise up. I’m not going to hold my breath.

Darwin- note that not one liberal voter is defending their stupidity.

Nice work CHP, bet the SF DA let’s them off.

If the crime was committed in Reno, they will be tried in the Washoe County Courthouse.

What a waste of LEO safety and resources. Once these miscreants are brought to trial(maybe??), the liberal SF and COCO ,DA will pat each one on their heads and tell them to behave and don’t get caught again!
Until this state and what is left of this nation get its act together we are are a doomed society!

The crime was committed in Reno. Send them back to NV for trial, where NV is tough on crime.

These resourceful retail acquisition engineers would do better peddling their talents to those same retailers as theft reduction consultants. Better pay and no nights with Bubba …

you can’t do anything, biden bin lyng said you can’t arrest illegal aliens even if they are murders

And where in this story does it say it was illegals doing this. It might have been, but wait for the facts before you opine.

@Hannah, With our untold large numbers of illegals with Hispanic surnames you just assume. This was not the work of law abiding citizens.

I agree it was not the work of law abiding citizens. You can be a citizen not abide by the law, which is not unusual. A Hispanic surname does not tell you much, many Hispanic’s are legal, many even born here.
