The Chase bank branch in Martinez was robbed Monday afternoon, police said.

Officers responded at 1:10 p.m. to the bank at 4201 Alhambra Ave. following a report of a robbery in progress.

The robber handed the teller a note demanding an undisclosed amount of money, the teller complied, and the robber left the bank, according to police.

you know what the left will say…

“racism” because it was a white guy!

LOL

My man, get out of your own head. Not everything is a right and left issue. Actually most things aren’t. Go outside. Talk to people.

jayMac, Something is radically wrong when white perpetrators are clearly identified in police and media reports, and other ethnicities are not. Maybe you don’t see it, but whites do. Using liberal’s definition of the phenomenon, it is clearly “racism.” It is prejudicial, discriminatory, and antagonistic toward members of white ethnicity.

Equity, parity, equality, impartiality, uniformity, whatever you want to call it, in a situation such as this, it is unfair to be singled out by ethnicity this way. It must be all or nothing, and nothing, as a purely practical matter, is not helpful to anyone in identifying and apprehending the perpetrator. If ethnicity is know, or suspected, it needs to be stated. If the same rules can’t be applied to everyone, their is something wrong with the rules.

Wait, what? We’re being told the race of the perpetrator? That’s right, it’s because he is white. Was the teller a person of color? If so, then it’s definitely a racist crime.

I had to look up what a fedora is…never heard of it.

Simon Sez-

Put your Thinking Cap on.

As someone from the left my first thought was, who wears a fedora to a robbery?

Seems like they only put race in these types of bulletins when the person is “White”. Reverse racism?????

Obviously, the fedora-wearing individual in this bank robbery isn’t experiencing “white privilege.” Otherwise, he wouldn’t be forced to resort to robbing banks to finance his lifestyle.

It has come to the point where whites are being made to feel guilty when they work hard and succeed, made to feel guilty when they are hungry and they eat, made to feel guilty when they are tired and they rest. In short, blamed for the ills of society since its inception because of what they did or didn’t do, There is only one reason why this could be acceptable to anybody, and that it is to shift the blame onto whites for other’s inadequacies and failures.

In fact, whites have their very own category of crime, “white-collar crime.” Seems only fair then that convenience store robberies and CVS heists would be labeled “black-collar crimes.” You can see the absurdity of the liberal left’s attempt to manipulate whites emotionally for what van only be described as a “self-interested” cause, absolving themselves of any personal responsibility in their predicament and alleviating the need for them to solve their own problems,

I imagined that detail was included since the suspect is at large.

No mention of a weapon, just that he handed a note to the teller. I wonder if the note said to hand over $949 so that he would not have to face any meaningful penalty.

Bank robbery is a Federal crime.

@Just Sayin’
Yes but rarely charged as a federal crime unless the perp has done many. Usually charged at local level just like mail theft…

California’s redistribution of wealth program at work!!!

Race should always be mentioned because we are all equal. RIGHT?

So when crimes occur while Democrats are in office, Democrats are to blame? And when Republicans are in office?

ALso you wrote: “no pursuit or even a rasied eyebrow form police or the DA ”

Did you read the article? It states: “Officers searched for the suspect and did not find him.”

wow, crazies will always derail these comments… get a grip…

Maybe they’re the ones with a grip.

“We’re here for the banks money, not your money. Your money is insured by the federal government. You won’t lose a dime.” Hope our Neil McCauley is never caught!!!

Maybe they’d do a direct deposit into your account. 😄

Chuq, Mass shootings took off in earnest when Obama took office. During Bush’s second term, his predecesso there were few.

https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2012/12/mass-shootings-mother-jones-full-data/

I am not in any way suggesting they don’t happen that way. Just commenting on the quackery that RT seems to suggest that this is the Dems’ fault.

@Gittyup: Interesting that you link to old stats, and not newer stats that include the years of Trump’s presidency. 2017 and 2018 both broke records in terms of being the most deadly years when it comes to mass shootings. Republican President, with a Republican lead senate. If you blame Obama for the shootings that happened in his Presidency, are you willing to blame Trump? 2007 had a high number of people killed in mass shootings, and Bush was President then.

Next time someone hands a bank teller a note demanding money, the teller should just write on the note, “No!”

Chuq,
It’s the Democrats who are:
*Releasing criminals en mass from prisons
*Legalizing and softening crime to assist and support career criminals
*Pushing the no bail agenda
*Supporting and encouraging vandalism and destruction of private property
*Arbitrary enforcement of laws

Open yours eyes and take a look around, sometime.

Natalie, … AGAIN !, do us the courtesy of providing a URL with the newer stats you mention.

i suspect your aren’t really interested in the answer but no a weapon isn’t “required”. what business would tell it’s employees not to do anything unless you see a weapon. and what employee would follow that rule?
