I got Moderna at Martinez. Easy and fast. February 23 for the first shot, March 23 for the second. Only side effect a bit of soreness on my arm which I took care of by sleeping on my other side. Feel great now.

First dose only so far – Moderna. Upper arm very sore afterwards, and for a couple of days. Putting a cold pack on seemed to alleviate some of the throbbing.

Pfizer at Kaiser, bit of soreness at injection site and that’s it.
Pfizer at WC Kaiser. First shot=sore arm. Second shot=shore arm. After 20 hrs. had body aches, sore eyeballs, mild headache and a slight fever, and fatigue. Next day was back to normal. Very mild reaction, worth it for the protection.
No, I didn’t get it. I’m in no way an anti-vaxer, I’ve been vaccinated for just about everything, from shingles to pneumonia, and I get a flu shot every year. The COVID-19 vaccine is a whole new ballgame. It’s too new, so nobody knows what, if any, long term effects will be. It hasn’t even been approved by the FDA. The FDA issued an emergency use authorization, which is different than an approval.
The so called experts and the media have been lying to us which is evident in the way they keep changing their story, and moving the goal post. Consequently, if they ever tell the truth I won’t believe them.
I don’t trust the government or the so called experts, they are slowly taking away our freedom in the guise of COVID-19. It won’t be long until we will have to show proof of the vaccine to board a plane, bus, or train, to go to school, or enter a business.
If you don’t want to get sick, wash your hands and don’t touch your face.
I think it is reasonable to be extra cautious about a new type of vaccine, and take a “wait and see” approach. But the argument about long-term effects goes both ways: the virus is new, too.

Dawg, I agree, and I also have had every shot – including shingles and pneumonias, plus I had and was treated for stage 4 lymphoma 14 yrs ago, and I am 75 and I work FULL time in retail. I am now very healthy and don’t want my immune system changed in any way-it has taken several yrs to recover from the effects of cancer and chemo, and yrs now since I have even had a cold. and I don’t want another shot that may protect me from a virus that 95% of people my age recovers from. Wash your hands and don’t touch your face.

They’re reporting data directly from VAERS (Vaccine Adverse Effects Reporting System), which is managed by the FDA and CDC,,,is that credible enough for you?
European equivalent EuduraVigilance has already tracked over 160K injuries and 4000 deaths from Pfizer, Moderna, and AZ, doesn’t even include J&J yet.
The problem is antivaxers are abusing VAERS data and have even been found faking reports.. VAERS is not verified documentation but just a reporting tool for people. Antivax love using openvaers as their go to for so called facts and data. However, Here’s a quote directly from the HHS website that collects the data:

Yes, a few hours later some slight pain where the shot was given and slight headache, which went away pretty quick. Otherwise fine. Moderna. Will be glad to get the second one.
Got the 1st shot Moderna March 2 arm was sore a couple of days. 2nd shot this Wednesday went through the county it was very easy.
Yes, first of two shots. Pfizer and the only obvious side effect was mild soreness at the point of injection lasting a couple days. I was a bit sleepy in the late afternoon but that may have been for other reasons. I had the Shingrix vaccination duo last year and that was a horror show compared to this.
Got my first Pfizer jab yesterday. Aside from mild soreness, I am completely fine and just avoiding pressure on that arm.
I wonder if blood type has anything to do with those who have the worst time with the virus and/or the vaccine. Anyone who had a bad reaction willing to share their blood type? I think their may be a connection our government doesn’t want us to know about.
I’ve had both doses of Moderna. A sore arm for a day was all I experienced with the first shot. The second dose made me sick as a dog the following day.
J&J-No side effects, no regrets
I got 2 – Moderna shots..one in February & one in March. However, I had to drive from Walnut Creek to Brentwood to get the shots.
3.14 1st Dose, Moderna @DVC, was fine that day, a bit sluggish next. No lingering issues, no arm ache.
Pfizer, doses one and two. Had a sore arm for 24 hours after the first shot. No side-effects after the second. Not nearly as bad as the smallpox vaccine I got as a kid. That one got me pretty sick, with a badly swollen arm as well.

Great that you walk with God. Good choice. Not sure how it relates to vaccination, though. I got vaccinated because I don’t want to catch or spread the COVID virus, not because of the government or any policy. I want this virus eradicated or at least tamed. I don’t see anything un-Godly in that.
The vaccine is not “gene therapy”. The vaccine trains your body on how to fight the disease, but does not alter your genetics.
My guess would be that you see doctors for all sorts of things, and take medicines, and probably have even been vaccinated against other diseases. So why is it on this one issue of Covid, that following the medical advice is “un-Godly”?

It’s real simple. America was founded on the concept of “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness”. The founders deliberately referred to these rights as God-given.
So when tyrants try to limit these rights – when they say your God given rights won’t be restored unless you take our vaccine, wear a mask, etc, they are categorically acting against God, i.e. in an ungodly manner.

The founding fathers didn’t say that we merely have a right to “life”. They said we have an inalienable, god-given right to “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” There were plenty of pandemics and epidemics during their time and their existence did not nullify these rights.
And to think that the virus is trying to kill you, is a sophomoric anthropomorphism. Viruses don’t try to kill their host. They are designed to replicate. They’re not bogeymen.

The answer is that by opting for neither you are choosing to potentially use your body as a virus factory to possibly infect others and to permit the virus to mutate. I don’t wear a mask to protect myself but to mitigate against possibly unknowingly infecting others. I choose to be vaccinated to reduce the risk that I will be infected and to secure immunity without allowing the virus to mutate.
I am not telling you what to do in your own best judgment. I am only questioning your perception of what is morally right and godly.
My wife works in a skilled nursing facility. She decided to volunteer, outside her job requirements, to volunteer to work directly with COVID patients BEFORE she was vaccinated. The virus quickly jumped out of containment at her work place despite precautions. She was one of very few staff who never tested positive. Patients died. Staff lived. Fortunately, she is now fully vaccinated … and that crisis is over.

People will always get viruses. Nature abhors a vacuum. And getting a vaccine is neither a guarantee that you won’t get sick yourself, or pass the virus to someone else. However getting the vaccine does guarantee that there will be a continued market for Big Pharma to fabricate medical emergencies to sell their snake oil.

Please please please stop with the “gene therapy” crap. Because it IS crap. If you read up on cell biology a little bit, you will learn what mRNA is, and what it does and doesn’t do. Your DNA is in the cell nucleus, the DNA actually produces mRNA which enters the ribosome to produce the proteins your body uses. mRNA absolutely does not enter the cell nucleus where your DNA is, and cannot affect your DNA in any way.
And, you absolutely can choose God, see doctors, get treatments, get vaccines. It is not either or.

Yes, received both doses of Pfizer in January. Arm a bit sore after each injection, and I felt a bit headachy after the second.
Since I’m taking care of patients, I would rather get the vaccine than the illness.
Fortunately, you are legally protected when you refuse any medical procedure you do not want. It is your perogative.
Pfizer. Sore arm after first one. Minor chills, fever, and aches approx. 12 hours after 2nd dose that lasted about 24 hours but interestingly my arm was not sore with 2nd one. Reaction was totally manageable by Tylenol/Advil and I was able to work. Totally worth doing.
In poll of coworkers (most of whom have received, most Pfizer, 1 Moderna, 1 J&J) about 80% had very similar experience to mine after 2nd dose*, about 10% had no reaction, and about 5% felt sick longer than 24 hours. (*J&J is one dose and the J&J recipient felt sick within 12 hours for about 24 hours)
There is nothing “unGodly” about this vaccine.
Had 1st Moderna shot 2 weeks ago at Kaiser. Super easy, soreness at injection site for 1 day, that was it. My husband got Moderna too-both shots. Second shot he felt tired and achey for a day, then totally fine.

Did You Have Side Effects? Light arm soreness, nothing really. First shot no side effects. Second one had at 10:30am, that night didn’t sleep well, wife had chills. The next day an achy body, slept, then felt fine.
I had both doses of Pfizer – nothing but some arm soreness both times.
Got first and second dose of Moderna, all good here.
I want to hug my grandchildren, without having my adult children thinking I will get COVID-19 from them, I made a choice.
JJ, I got Pfizer at John Muir, no reaction, except I seem to develop a bit of a rash on my upper arms, does not itch much, and not sure it is related to the vaccine, since I’m taking some new medication, and frankly don’t remember if the rash started before I got the first shot. The RN that gave me the second shot, said it could be connected to the vaccine. Other than that nothing, arm not really sore either, only when I accidentally touched it.
I’m scheduled to drive down to visit my daughter and family (grandson will turn 1 April 11) and my daughter requested that I got at least one shot before the visit. However, since I work in retail and thus are in contact with a lot of people, I never had any hesitation about getting the vaccine.

I got two Pfizer at the Oakland Coliseum, the second being eight days ago. I had slight arm soreness and general fatigue for two days, but nothing severe.

No vaccine for me until I have seen that there are no long term affects. The vaccines were rushed and not adequately tested to where I would be comfortable taking it. I absolutely do not trust the government and their supposed experts.

Moderns and absolutely no side effects with either shot however I did get a date with the nurse that administered me the second shot and was well worth getting the shots for that added night of fun.

My Doctor said that he knew people that died from Covid but he didn’t know anyone that died from the covid vaccine so I got both Pfizer shots. My arm was a little sore both times.
1st Moderna just a sore arm and my Wife got a mild rash. I keep hearing it’s the 2nd shot that really gets you.

Both my wife (Moderna) and I (Pfizer) got both shots with almost no side-effects even after the second one.
Now we can get together with a very few friends at a time without the anxiety and risk we had before.
Not only was it the right thing to do for ourselves, but also for others and for the economy.
Also, even though we’re wearing masks in higher risk locations and would even without a mandate, we’re hopeful that enough people get vaccinated so that the infection/death toll gets down to the level where the economy is fully open again and people are not needlessly dying from the disease.

Trump was taking advice from Fauci and other “experts” and was in a position of having no choice in the matter. Try to challenge these “experts” sometimes and see how self-protective and defensive they get. Trump was infected with Covid-19 because he was not taking them seriously enough, and he had to get the vaccine to salvage the “experts” public image and was likely coerced to do so. This is a massive clinical trial of an untested, unapproved vaccine to collect some sort of duplicitous and deceitful information. COVID-19, COvert IDentification. Strange name that can only arouse suspicion. It’s just the way they do things these days. They can’t be truthful anymore.
Maybe they have DNA evidence to identify all the rapists for the backlog of rape kits, but can’t find who it belongs to. Or, maybe they are looking for everyone with DNA that predicts the 20% of the population that uses 80% of the services to concentration on a cure for what illness they have that makes them keep seeking medical treatment, over, and over, and over, again. Or, maybe they are determined to find a cure for the common cold and think they can do that by altering an individual’s RNA. Or, they think they have found a cure for cancer and are trying it out, gathering the information they need to decide whether it works or not. Or, perhaps this is actually a flu vaccine they want widely distributed. There are a myriad of reasons they would collect nasal and throat samples from so many people and the same goes for administering a vaccine. Also, the distribution has been so botched at every level, how can anyone take it seriously. There are somethings like 158 different vaccines in research and production. Why would every drug company want to produce one unless it was bound to be a huge money maker for someone?
There is simply something they aren’t telling us because it would discourage people from getting the test, or the vaccine. The benefits they are “pitching” just keep proving to be wrong. Would you buy a used car from Fauci?
I got enough of all of that at Kaiser where they would prescribe a medication for literally years, then suddenly it would be released over-the-counter, and my doctor would tell me to go buy it. I had clearly been enrolled in a clinical trial without my permission which is against the law. Think “unpaid research subject.” It’s very economical for the drug companies to do things this way. Kaiser works with these drug companies, as do many doctors who will give you a free “sample,” to determine the effects of certain medications. I also got diagnoses that were completely false recommending unnecessary surgery which were simply attempts to find “cooperative” patients to train doctors to perform surgery … and nothing more.
This is precisely why your right to refuse any medical procedure offered to you is protected by law. The legal system had to find a way to protect individuals who were being forced to have procedures which benefited the medical profession only.
I told you to expect this very sort of thing when Obama left office after forcing everyone to have health insurance, the same way the financial industry took advantage of everyone when Bush left office.

I have had both shots, I got Pfizer. My arm was a little sore the first time, but I kept my arm moving and iced several times for few days. No other side effects. Got my 2nd shot 3/18.

Had a little arm soreness, but I had fractured three ribs on that side, so it was fine.
Second shot Pfizer.
The paramedic was such a good shot giver, that I didn’t feel a thing til he put the bandaid on. Little more arm soreness, ribs still hurt, so all good. Next day, got up in the morning, usual morning routine. Then I thought I’d lay down for a minute and woke up at 5:00 o’clock. So there’s that ……
The Lord blessed us with not one, not two, but three different vaccines. Do your part.

I got a Moderna shot at DVC while Trump was still in office…. but later I heard Biden say that “We didn’t have a vaccine when I came into office” so now I don’t know what they gave me!

Got my first Pfizer on Friday in Antioch. That place was a well oiled machine. I got in the line for my appointment time, was ushered to a check in area for IDing, med card, etc. Maybe five minutes. Then another line waiting for an available vaccination cubicle. I was asked about 10 more specific questions (have you ever had another covid shot? Are you pregnant? etc.). Then I got the jab. Maybe 10 min total. Then I hung out for another 20 to see if I had any adverse effects.
My arm hurt a bit on Sat. Similar to the ache from a tetanus shot or charlie horse. On Sun, the arm was fine but I had an annoying and persistant headache all day. I was also very sleepy all day. Went to bed early and everything is fine.
So…There isn’t a single person who got the J&J shot? Is that even available here?

I know a very elderly lady who got the J&J shot while in the hospital, but she has severe health issues .She’s local. I think it’s being reserved for those who meet the criteria.

Then the second one on March 16, 2021 same place. Arm was sore for 48 hrs. No chills no fever. Took tylenol , twice, then continued with my usual exercise using my rowing machine. All better. Being a cardiac survivor I don’t want to take any chances. My M.D got hers about the same time I did. She was fine.
For those who are vulnerable and chose not to get vaccinated I hope none of you get sick. According to some people who had Covid.it was pretty ugly
I got the J&J at DVC a few weeks ago and was sick in bed the next day with chills and headache. The next day still didn’t feel good then back to normal the day after that. I was nervous about getting it but followed the advice of a few trusted medical professionals.
I’ve had the first dose of the Pfizer. Only a little arm soreness the next day. I was fine after that.
I have extended family that have had Covid. It was a horrible and terrifying experience for all involved. I know a couple of people who are Covid long-haulers. They recovered from the acute phase of the illness months ago, but have longterm, debilitating symptoms that won’t go away. These were young, previously healthy people with no underlying health conditions. I wouldn’t wish this disease on my worst enemy.
I thank God for the scientists who created the vaccines. I’m grateful to President Trump for putting government dollars behind the development effort and buying the initial doses. And I’m grateful to the Biden administration and state and local officials who are getting it distributed.
