- Recovered cases – 63,718
- Deaths – 754
- Total active confirmed cases – 831
- Nursing home deaths – 316
- 5 active outbreaks in nursing homes
Contra Costa County COVID-19 Hospital Data:
- Patients currently hospitalized – 42
- Occupied ICU beds – 119
- Available ICU beds – 41
The State will move Contra Costa County to the “Orange Tier” once the following three criteria have been met for two consecutive weeks:
- CASE RATE: 1.0 – 3.9 daily new cases (per 100k) (currently 5.5)
- POSITIVEY RATE: 2.0 – 4.9% positive tests for entire county (currently 1.8%)
- EQUITY METRIC: Less than 5.3% positive tests for health equity quartile (currently 3.1%)
K-6 School Reopening:
- Schools have been allowed to reopen since February 9, 2021.

Actually there has been more testing then ever. So no, it’s not because of the threshold. Sad you try to throw something back. Vaccines have helped but in the last number of months. More tests have been done then ever before.
And yes, the numbers like in Florida and Texas. Maybe you didn’t read what i wrote. As i said. The last few times we open. What happen? Some of the worse numbers ever happen is all of the US.

Trump rallies represented maybe 1% of the mass gatherings at the time. You will remember that lifetime criminal and man who once put a loaded gun to a pregnant woman’s stomach, George Floyd, died after swallowing his stash (read the toxicology), thus causing 500 million+ in damages and killing over 20 people at a conservative estimate, while rapes and beatings proliferated.
If you want to acknowledge mass gatherings in 2020, you need to condemn the BLM/Antifa riots and gatherings. THEY are what increased the spread.
