Representatives Mark DeSaulnier (CA-11) and Mike Thompson (CA-05) announced they will host a virtual town hall tomorrow, Wednesday, June 2 at 5:00 p.m. on work being done in the Administration and in Congress since Democrats took control of the House, Senate, and White House.
The event will be held on Zoom and will be streamed live on Congressman DeSaulnier’s Facebook page.
Representatives DeSaulnier and Thompson will provide updates on actions the Administration and Congress have taken in the first 100+ days of the Biden presidency to act on issues like recovering from the pandemic, gun violence prevention, racial justice, election reform, and the assault on the Capitol, according to DeSaulnier’s Office.
Event participants will have an opportunity to submit questions before the event and live during the town hall.

Does anyone remember when “town hall meetings” were supposed to be an open dialogue where the politicians LISTENED? Now it’s evolved to be a lecture, re-education program, and political fundraiser for the comrades.

Well ……. I for one have been a registered Independent, noted as NPP nowadays as I have very little use for either established party. I have been a consistent and active voter – voting with the Independent moniker my entire adult life. Very much a senior citizen now.
As a note, the NPP preference is growing nationwide due to the greed and tone deafness of both major political parties. Think about it. NPP as I noted stands for No Party Preference. Actually I prefer to clearly say I am an Independent. Thanks for the assumption and the opportunity to clarify this matter.
