Concord Police are investigating a shooting in the area of Clayton Rd., between Galindo and Grant St.
One person appears to have suffered a gunshot wound, and a vehicle with several bullet holes was located in the area.
No other information is currently available.

We heard the shots and then heard a car down Detroit screeching at over 60 mph. So sad!

The victim had his vehicle shot up and the victim was shot in the hand and was taken to John Muir.
Heard the gunshots from Detroit, and then heard a car screeching down the street, sounding like it was dragging something metallic and left a smell like burnt rubber.
The tire of the car popped when it crashed with an SUV on Detroit, im sure it was that.

I don’t live in Concord anymore but loved growing up there. What happened to it?
Liberalism is what happened to Concord, or perhaps it would be more accurate to say far-Left Progressivism.
We left Concord earlier this year after 37 years, and didn’t stop until we had exited California altogether. The entire state is headed for a cliff, and voters don’t seem to realize what that is going to mean for them individually.
Concord is fine! It is tainted by being in a Sanctuary state and also declares itself as a Sanctuary city!
The liberal/socialist mindset doesn’t allow for admitting mistakes (sanctuary states/cities), so backwards we go in a hurry. I can’t think of another country that lets in illegals, and then offers gov’t services as if we made them victims.
Blaming Republicans and/or white people for everything is insane, and this behavior is responsible for the current crime rates rising all over the country i.e. de-funding, reparations and letting people out of prison when they should be locked up. It will take it’s toll. Concord will have it’s share.
