.
It must be because of:

1. Climate change
2. Covid-19
3. President Trump
4. “Assault” weapons
5. Racism

Any answer above will be correct to fit left wing narratives.
.

+1

6. LGBTQ+* rights being trampled on
7. plastic straws
8. plastic bags
9. beef, chicken, fish (vegan terrorists)
10. protecting (packing) SCOTUS
11. gasoline cars, instead of EVs
12. not densifying neighborhoods

If I acquired an alpha-gal allergy as the result of a tick bite, I would consider my life to be over. No red meat ever again? What’s the point of living?

People don’t seem to realise it’s not called Lime Disease. It’s really called Limey Disease – once you’re bitten, you start speaking with an English accent!

Ancient Mariner, that was 😆 funny!

Aslong as you wear your mask your good no worries 👍🏾

Geez, what a lousy report! They left alot of stuff out.

Wear light colored clothing (easy to spot a tick crawling on you).
check yourself often & bring a comb.
The only insect repellents that work on ticks contain Deet, that is a powerful ingredient, not just a brand name…. so check the labels and follow directions.
Deet can make you sick if you use it improperly.
The paved paths are best, but if you wander off on a deer trail you will probably get ticks on you… they hang from the edge of grasses and brush just waiting to hitch a ride on whatever passes by.
Hiking is fine but it’s much less likely to pick up a tick from a boat or a bar stool…. JMHO

There are natural repellents like cedar and peppermint that can help. I have to watch for them in my backyard.

Permethrin sprays also protect against ticks. That’s an insecticide not a repellent, though.

56% of DEET has been shown to be absorbed into the skin, and 17% is absorbed into the bloodstream.
Something to think about.

0.5% Permethrin is better. It doesn’t repel ticks, it kills them.

You can soak your hiking clothes in it, let them dry, and then wash as usual up to 35 times and it will kill any ticks that lands on you.

After 35 washes, just repeat the process.

Or just get a spray bottle and apply as needed.

You can see a parasite epidemic in Sacramento almost every day.

Yep, a giant tapeworm with jelled hair living inside anyone who has ever had the audacity to work for a living………

More tick talk from the fear mongers! If people are that afraid, I suggest that they wear a body bag.

Here’s a little fun I learned from an ex-girlfriend while camping about 15 years ago. If you put a flame to a tick it’ll literally “pop” loud enough to hear….yes, she was a strange one.

I wonder if ticks can get any diseases from humans.

Politicians have been sucking our blood forever and they seem okay.
