Fire Warning In Effect Due To Strong Winds, Dryness

A warning of high fire danger is in effect through Sunday for a northeastern portion of California due to gusty winds and low humidity.

National Weather Service has issued a red flag warning for the eastern side of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The region identified as high risk of fire extends into southern Oregon and parts of western and southern Nevada.

The National Weather Service issues red flag warnings and fire weather watches to alert fire departments of the onset, or possible onset, of critical weather and dry conditions that could lead to rapid or dramatic increases in wildfire activity.

Cal Fire has a website devoted to providing tips for the public how to prepare and prevent wildfires at http://readyforwildfire.org/.

“For dry eyes, try clear eyes”- Ben Stein

Newsom is shutting eight prison inmate firefighting camps. The California Dept. of Corrections have firefighting crews who volunteer to fight fires alongside Cal Fire. They are specially trained and a great asset to fighting fires. Some of them even go on to become firefighters after they are released from prison.
Newsom said it’s all part of his early release program.

I know a guy who was on the fire fighting crew last year after doing about 18 years in prison he is not a great asset to the community. His last arrest Was for breaking into a ladies house and she called the cops on him and he punched her in the face as he tried to stop him from leaving. I think he got let out on the last Newsom lovefest. As a Democrat I’m not thrilled my ex friend is a scammer for life beware. He grew up in Clayton and went to Clayton valley and Northgate

Don’t quote me, but I’m pretty sure being a felon disqualifies one from being a regular firefighter.
