The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for most of the Bay Area from 4 p.m. Sunday to 7 a.m. Monday.
The forecast calls for south winds from 15 to 25 mph, with gusts of up to 55 mph.
People are advised to use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high-profile vehicle, and to secure outdoor objects.
The forecast also includes rain starting Sunday, with several inches of rainfall expected as the storm system moves over the Bay Area through Thursday.
The way the barometer is dropping, I would expect to see winds to 55 MPG.
I’m delighted to see more rain and snow in the mountains from this storm.
I hope we see many more storms before the winter is over.
Can cross off to do list, raking leaves.
True, hate to be that neighbor at the corner who got all the wind blown leaves.
This Sunday? So far this “storm” seems to be a nothing burger.
If the rains continue at this relentless pace, maybe I won’t have to fill up the bird bath tomorrow.
one less thing on the To Do List?
Sorry, I will hide my head in shame….
