Dystopian. It’s been obvious from the get-go that shutting down schools was a bad idea. Doing it now, after so much time and evidence to learn from, is just evil.
Here’s a grim prediction: social scientists twenty years from now will be able to track differences in life achievement, income, and health back when looking at people who were subject to school closures and those who were not.
Here’s a grimmer one: CA and other states with long periods of required masking for all school kids will produce a generation of kids whose language and social development is impaired, and a generation of special needs kids who were severely impaired by being deprived of face to face communication. Special needs kids are regressing and missing out on developmental windows that will never be open again. I’m convinced many kids won’t be able to use language ever, who would have had a shot at doing so except that they were in a nanny state during Covid. This will one day be a textbook case of abusive treatment of the disabled.
All I know is I was promised a cyberpunk dystopia or a zombie apocalypse and all I got is hypochondriac democrats on a power trip.
They can show up in droves, stand in line for hours to get a COVID test when their not sick, but can’t show up to vote and need permanent mail in voting.
The only illness going on is mental.

I happen to see it everyday where people are deathly sick with covid 19 and when one of your family members get it a die from it then hopefully you will stop spreading you fake opinions but all of you just want to complain because you not getting what you want and you want to blame it on a free money giveaway.
