Full disclosure: I am fully vaccinated.
Having said that, could someone show me the settle-science which says that infants and children under the age of 5 are better off being vaccinated. The death rate from the Communist Chinese Bioweapon is practically zero for this demographic group. And since the vaccines are becoming less effective, there is even less reason to do this.
And even if you get them vaccinated, you’ll still need to wear a face-pad? If I had written a book 3 years ago with this premise I would have been laughed out of the room.

My roommate and I are both vaccinated. He got COVID from an unvaccinated person and had a challenging but not dangerous experience that peaked with two very difficult nights for him. I never came down with COVID (I tested negative three times during this experience).
Let’s review. We were never told that the vaccine gave you a 100% chance of not getting COVID but we have been told that vaccinated folks will have a less difficult and dangerous experience and that it was hard for vaccinated people to pass the Delta variant of the virus to another vaccinated person. That is all exactly what happened in my case. Omicron is different from Delta and if this were to happen again I would be more likely to get infected – but once again not very likely to actually need hospitalization.
We are also seeing high case numbers without high numbers of deaths. That is due to both the rate of vaccination and the natural inclination of the virus to mutate into a form that is less likely to kill its host.
Make whatever choices you want but please don’t pretend they are based on sound logic.

Viruses mutate. A virus has its best chance of spreading if it can become easier to pass on and less likely to kill its host. The vaccines were effective at stopping the transmission of COVID Alpha through Delta. They are not proving as effective at stopping the transmission of Omicron though they seem to lessen the effects.
