33 new picnic tables have been installed at Pleasant Hill Park on Gregory Lane.
The installation of these new tables is part of the city’s ongoing park beautification efforts and is one of their 2022 capital improvement projects.

You mean thank the Pleasant Hill Rec and Park District, which by the way is a special district that is independent of the City of Pleasant Hill and any other government agencies.
It was formed 10 years prior to the City’s incorporation in 1961 and owns park lands outside of the City of Pleasant Hill.

They can add all the tables they want but it won’t change the fact that going to the park is no longer a safe and enjoyable activity due to all the rampant crime being allowed. And of course, there are those who love being pigs and litter as if they are in a third world country where people dispose of their garbage anywhere.
Concrete picnic tables in a city that easily reaches 100 degrees in the summer. Can’t be moved. Probably few under shade. But hey- the hobos can’t steal them.
The homeless will have more places to occupy.
I/ve been living in Pleasant Hill since 1968 and have always been impressed with how hard our city government employees work plus a Park and Recreation District that is almost always in tune with the needs of us residents;; I am proud of my city!
Pleasant Hill had really become one of the nicest cities in our area.
Huge Transformation the last 10 years. And since you can’t build anymore there’s not as many people as Walnut Creek and especially not as many as conquer. Crime here is very low here compared to everywhere else.

They build the new houes at Morello and Taylor a couple of years ago.
They are now building new ones on Taylor near the police station.
And they are planning on building at the farm on Taylor and Pleasant Hill Rd.
Pleasant Hill is nice … but they can and still are building.
I wish Concord had a similar program our parks look like crap compared to Peasant Hill. Pleasant Hills Ball Fields even look great and Concords look like they should be condemned. Concord depends on grant money for their upgrades like snack shacks upgraded but never used why?. Time for a change Concord !!!!

Hey macwizzer what was the quality of life in pleasant hill in the 70s? How was it growing up not having millions of foreign nationals here? I’m interested to know how much a house cost back then, how much gas was? I want to know the crime rate etc …I’m sure I can look it up but I’d rather ask one of your old timers
The flood of crime is indirect correlation with the flood of people coming into the country from countries where it’s all the know.They dont just come to America and become upstanding citizens..why should they.they never needed to before,and there’s so much more to be had here.All other countries see are $$$ signs when they come here.Morals arent important.In their cultures you do anything you can to get by legal por not,and America is just great for opportunists.It’s not straight white American males commiting %98 of crime.But they are the devil..
If it was Concord they would be bragging about how much all this cost.And I bet 33 picnic tables cost them about $100.000.but they aren’t bragging about it.Concord would for some reason.
Nobody here would spend $3000 on a picnic table,but it’s OK for cities to be idiotic.
