Now, let’s get to what is a fair election. The left has taken over most TV broadcasting and the publishing from NY Times, WAPO and most others are controlled by leftists or at least leftist writers. Positive news about Trump was suppressed, while negative news about Biden such as his kid getting money from China and Ukraine was suppressed. The media even kept open the debunked Russia collusion story. There are many more examples. But basically, it is not a fair election if one party is controlling the media and 95% of the stories are anti-Trump. So, to disagree, are you saying Merriam-Webster is wrong or that the stories of media bias did the math wrong, or that it is acceptable for media to ignore actual facts and just print 95% of stories against one candidate. Is that enough proof for you? It is enough for me.

@hanne, the media are controlled by the left. You cited Fox (News Channel), Newsmax and few other cable news/opinion shows, and a handful of radio hosts. Out of all the media out there, these represent a minority of options (yet a fair amount of audience share). The bulk of “news” is derived from groups like AP, Reuters, etc., and their headlines and stories, are disseminated across all platforms. These are run by cnn, msnbc, cbs, fox, NYT, every newspaper, every local radio show and eventually making it to the clowns like Maher, the hens like the view, etc. Leftist ideology/opinion/even facts are the primary bent of Facebook, Twitter, Google, etc. Virtually every movie/tv program has a left wing bent on policy, belief etc. Savage taking credit is meaningless. Levin, Hannity (more a swamp creature) and Rush, they gave President Trump a platform to speak on (before other media platforms did). People voted for President Trump because of what he said, not because these hosts said to. Compare the coverage, over the years, of the media on Trump, bush, mccain, etc. compared to obama, biden, clinton, etc. Also, I know it is derided, but look at a few states that, prior to election, changed election laws, contrary to their constitutions. There are anomalies being found, but the (left) media could not be quicker to denounce them as fraud (I understand nothing will come of any of this, it never does). So yes, the media are, and have been for decades, left.

The entire West has declared economic war on Russia. It’s just not a hot war yet but we are already in a world war.

WWIII is entirely a possibility, and the fact that so many people mention the topic is proof that those fears are based on facts.
Russia is not in this alone. They have allies in some of the former Soviet “republics”.
We did not see sustained and catastrophic sanctions when Russia invaded or “helped insurgencies” in portions of Russia’s neighbors.
Western European “leaders” for the most part are as timid as Biden, or worse.
Poland, a NATO member, is on Putin’s hit list, and the West has not done anything to make them feel more secure.
The longer this conflict drags out, or if Ukraine falls, there will be a greater possibility of escalation leading to the use of “battlefield nukes” Russia has 2,000 of them because some people there think you can ‘limit’ a nuclear exchange.

It very well could. putin seems to think Ukraine is being governed by neo-nazis. Macron had stated that lately putin seems to be different, getting paranoid. reading putin’s statement, he seems to hold an alternate view of history and thinks Russia has been shorted, and many other stories. Is he crazy, in addition to being a cold tyrant? Maybe. I also think he has seen the tremendous weakness of the current “leadership” in the US. I did hear Belarus was considering helping Russia. If that is the case, I would fear that Ukraine is not the last location in putin’s mad scheme, and this can and will quickly escalate to WW3. Watch China make a move on Taiwan, just to complicate things; xi also knows tremendous weakness, and sees it right now.
