About 1,700 homes and businesses are without power in Concord right now.

The outage has been reported along the area surrounding Concord Blvd., west of Kirker Pass and north of Clayton Rd.

Power should be restored by noon, according to PG&E.

The cause was lightning that struck a power pole.

Electricity is unreliable. Yet, our CA leaders insist on using this form of energy exclusively.

And just what do you suggest they use? No matter how its produced, it’s still electricity. 😂🤪

When my electricity goes out, I still have gas for heat and cooking.

Of course, I can’t do laundry with the power out, but having gone to sea on a submarine, that isn’t a new experience for me.

It was a loud boom. Heard the first roar of thunder thought my neighbor was rolling out the garbage, nope. Sitting at my desk and pow! All dark. Wondering which power pole. If at Ayers and Concord Blvd. Been chatting with neighbor.

Power went off for about 5 seconds then came back on. I’m between Clayton Rd and Ayers Rd.

Just like PG&E keep raising the rates and the access to power goes down just as fast.

Time for more changes as the PUC is a joke and in bed with Newscum.

Lol- yeah, because we should expect power to stay on when lightning strikes a power pole. What a clown.

Powers still out. Kids stranded without electricity. Useless PG&E

And just how would you control where lightning strikes? 😂🤪
If you think PG&E is useless, why don’t you stop using them? 😂

PG&E has numerous faults.

It’s a lousy public service company.

But,

No electric utility company can control lighting.

Not even Newsom can control lightning.
(to the dismay of many voters and posters)
