ConFire is responding to multiple reports of a fence on fire that may have extended to an apartment building on Sierra Dr. near Edmund Ct., in Walnut Creek.
UPDATE: The fire has extended to the building. WCPD is evacuating residents. Some roads in the area are being temporarily closed.
UPDATE: The fire hasbeen extinguished.

Smoker? Always see people smoking around there, on the phone. I thought it was banned in Walnut Creek, but they don’t enforce anymore and blame Police shortage.
WC loves their low-income housing and there’s low-income apartments at that location, so…
At least they didn’t decide to just let it burn itself out.
