BART riders can expect 15 to 20 minute delays near Pleasant Hill and South Hayward stations all day Sunday as construction crews perform track repairs, announced the public transportation agency.
Near the South Hayward station, BART workers will replace power cables to ensure the system has reliable source of electricity. BART’s green line service will be canceled in the area, so riders should prepare to take the orange line instead. The service will be reduced to one track.
Near Pleasant Hill station, BART workers will replace damaged track ties that were affected by a partial derailment in June. The surrounding area will also only operate with a single track.
