On Friday, August 12 at 5:00 p.m., the Candidate Filing Period for the November 8, 2022 General Election will end.
Nomination papers will be available at the Elections Office until the close of the Candidate Filing Period.
Candidates for School Districts and Special Districts can come to the Elections Office lobby at 555 Escobar Street in Martinez.
City Council candidates should go to their respective City Clerk’s Office to file papers.

I hope some common-sense conservatives step up to challenge the woke craziness dominating the MDUSD school board.
The current MDUSD progressive majority is totally aligned with the promotion of gender ideology, CRT, anti-police, and anti-America.
Vote for Ms. Green in area 1. I would literally pay for tickets to those meetings, lol. She will give ’em hell and they would be in for one wild ride! I don’t know how productive it will be, but she WILL shake things up.
