QUESTION: Have you received your middle class tax refund from the State of California yet? Also – what’s your opinion on the tax refund checks? Do you think they help or are they just a bandaid over a wound that needs stitches?
So far, over $4,106,762,900 has been issued, but we’re hearing many Claycordians have yet to receive a payment.

Funny this subject came up.
Today Hubby & I were at Costco and ran into my cousin & Aunt.
My cousin said she did get hers the other day ….$200.
I do not know anyone else who got one yet.
Hubbys favorite place 🙂 We have not either. Perhaps we make too much money for it. I have no idea.
Hubby was really good today at Costco. Only bought what was on the little list (LOL)

I have not had enough taxable income over the last few years to file a tax return.
Tax-free investments made early in life have allowed me to avoid taxes later.
Since I haven’t filed a tax return, I won’t get a check.
I don’t believe that is fair.
Nothing from the government is fair.

I don’t need, nor want his bribe. The last one we received was donated to a non-profit. If I get another, it will be donated again.

Got one last month. I won’t object because we do get taxed too much in this state and often our tax dollars go to things they weren’t intended for. That must stop. Our politicians are like drunken sailors and think that the citizens are ATMs they can use anytime. There are many folks which these will help but probably not enough.
I agree. We got our and it reminded me to not vote for NewScum and the rest of the incumbent morons. Unfortunately, the majority of California voters are too ignorant to vote for a positive change.

Nope, even though I filed taxes way before deadline_ 2020 was filed by 2/2021. I always receive my refund direct deposit to same bank account but because for some odd reason I received my GSS via check by mail now I have to receive my Middle class refund on a debit card way after everyone else. Not received anything yet.
What is this?? Never heard of this or received anything!
