A vehicle collision late Friday afternoon in Walnut Creek has shut down a portion of Civic Drive.
A Walnut Creek Police Department spokesperson said the collision has forced the closure of southbound Civic Drive near the intersection with Civic and Parkside drives and Ygnacio Valley Road.
There is no estimated time available as to when the roadway will be cleared and reopened.

Had to be pretty bad to close down the street and they don’t even know when it will open. Such an easy intersection to navigate. Most people making a left to parkside off of Civic and it has a left hand turn light. What a waste. Hope no one is seriously hurt though.
