Dr. J, Perhaps you can solve this mystery for me. Earlier this week, when I got out of my car at the mall to go back into the store, I tripped on one of those cement stoppers, (or whatever they are called in the parking lot and of course I fell, I put my right hand down and slammed my right knee right into the concrete. A nice young man that also work at Macy’s helped me up, a couple of my fingers were sore and I had scratches on my wrist. I were wearing black leggings not particular thick, no holes in the leggings, and my knee wasen’t hurting so I didn’t check it. When I got home that night and were going to bed, my knee was scratched and bleeding a little, how can that be when nothing happened to my leggings? I was off the next 2 days, but when I went back to work my knee was hurting after a few hours, and it turned all black and blue, but know it is ok. This is my bad knee because I fell another time that time in the store, but physical therapy and a cortisone shot helped a lot, so I can still take walks and exercise, I continue to do the exercises recommened by the physical therapist, at least some of them.
Hanne, first, hope the pain fades quickly. As far as leggings v skin, I would imagine your leggings have a lot more elasticity than your skin.

I’m sorry you fell and hurt yourself, Hanne. Nobody expects to get out of their car and step off into a hole in the ground like that. They need to correct those catch basins things asap. They’re just dangerous! Hope you’re on the mend.

read on another site there was an abduction (of a female just out walking, by a male) attempt near Oak Grove Middle School (on Minert) yesterday (?), not sure time of day, if dark or light out. Be careful out there, seems the criminal element here are getting more brazen, and their activities more frequent.

Scam alert, I bouight a sweat shirt from ONYSK, it was a great price, it was on the internet for awhile so I thought it was legitimate. They sent me an email saying it was delivered. I never got it. Buyer beware!

His history was SO bad, the citizens in every area refused to let him be in their neighborhood, if it was near any teen aged girls.
