Evening BART Service To Have Improved Wait Times

Beginning today, BART’s evening service will run with more steady wait times between trains traveling between Daly City and West Oakland.

For its service after 9pm, BART has ensured that trains will run every 15 minutes between Daly City and West Oakland. Previously two trains would arrive within a few minutes of each other every 28 minutes.

The wait time improvement was possible due to the completion of overnight work for the Transbay Tube Seismic Retrofit Project, which closed off half of the tube every night and caused delays.

BART is also adding four more morning trains on the yellow and green lines.

I’ll believe it when I see it… and consistent – maybe for a month at least

The idea of having to pay for and then wait for a dirty unsafe form of transportation is laughable.
