Look at all those channels. Too bad we don’t have that many options now.

Anyone remember Televents?

When I was a teenager, we would sneak into the Condor Club and catch a glimpse of Carol doing her act. We’d get away with it for a couple of minutes before the bouncer threw us out.

Now if you want a specific channel you have to buy a package of 15 channels to watch just one… ridiculous

A friend of mine and I used to work for Televents during that time installing their equipment to new customers. We have many great memories… All Good:)

Primarily, I remember these television stations because they were the pinnacle of “Concert For Bangladesh, “Farm Aid,” “Band Aid, “and others which featured day-long presentations of a new style of musical entertainment with outstanding talent showcased on the world stage for purely charitable causes. Those were some excellent concerts!
