On May 31, 2023, at approximately 9:44 p.m., Concord Police Officers responded to a report of a hit and run vehicle collision involving a bicyclist that occurred on Willow Pass Road at Diamond Blvd.
The bicyclist was transported from the scene and is listed in critical condition.
This collision is still under investigation. Any witnesses are asked to contact Traffic Officer Nanthasiri at 925-671-5096.

Bicycle riding late at night on a busy street with fast traffic…. risky.
Glad to hear he is still alive. My friend witnessed this and it was terrible for her to watch. If you are the girl who hit him you will get caught! Turn yourself in now while you can!
Clear indication that better bike infrastructure is needed in Concord. It is dangerous to be in most parts of Concord outside of a vehicle.
