An Antioch man was sentenced this week to three years and eight months in federal prison for illegally dealing firearms, the U.S. Department of Justice said.
Juan Valentin Manriquez, 21, was arrested through the help of a confidential informant, prosecutors said.
Co-defendant Andrew Larrabure-Tuma, 19, used Snapchat to advertise narcotics and guns for sale, and an undercover agent and a confidential informant both bought guns from Tuma.
Tuma introduced the confidential informant to Manriquez, who was his gun supplier. Manriquez then sold the informant nine guns in exchange for cash.
Tuma pleaded guilty to unlawful dealing and manufacturing firearms and was sentenced to three years and four months in prison.
Hyphenated names are for divorced women lol.
A slap on the wrist… get serious!
I’m sure the ghost guns he was selling went to a well regulated militia.
Initially thought CoCo DA took care of business,
then saw word federal and it made more sense.
It’s not a long enough sentence. The least they can do is to turn them over to ICE when they’re released, and have them deported if they are in the country illegally.
The longer version is death, sorrow, broken hearts, lost fathers and mothers, children as well…
Bless all law enforcement for keeping all of us safe.
You pretend to be an elite, you would know.
