Thanks to Amanda for the photo of the new 7-Eleven on Ygnacio and Civic in Walnut Creek.

The best thing about it is the giant slurpee on top.

7-Eleven is good, but we need more Circle K’s in Contra Costa County.

I thought Walnut Creek was a classy town? 7-11? That’s usually a low end type establishment….though what’s in the news lately about Walnut Creek, maybe it fits.

…there’s another 7-11 right around the corner… this has been in the works – what, 2 yrs?

There was a gas station on that corner forever and the 7/ 11 is a gas station also. I thought they could make it look a little snazzier. It’s sort of dull looking.

All thses new places opening up but Dutch Bros. Coffee on Clayton Road is still in the building stage. It’s been well over a year since they started construction.

Wonder what that will do to the other 7/11 a couple of blocks away? I stopped there every morning for the energy to drive into the city for over twenty years but now you don’t have to turn off of Ygnacio. Big time change.

From the GEMCO sign to a slurpee, how WC has fallen.

Just what we needs: more 7 11s, and more Starbucks, and more McDonalds, and more Taco Bell’s, and more…
Fast food and continually dumbing down nation, for sure.

Looks like the creek is going up it with a low budget paddle. Concord 2.0

Want to knock off $20k from the value of your home, see to it a 7-11 is built within walking distance. Take off another $5k for a giant ‘effed up Slurpee on the roof. 🫠

Keep ‘em coming. That’s how low I think of WC.
