Smoke In The Air Coming From Fires Outside Of Contra Costa County

If you notice the smoke outside today, it’s coming from several fires burning across California. There are no active fires in Contra Costa County causing this smoke.

The sky isn’t orange like it was a few years ago – so that’s a good thing …. hope it never gets that way again.

2018, the area looked like Beijing and I learned how suffocating those N95 masks are. So I didn’t wear those the only times I did wear a mask during the “pandemic” but the much cheaper nuisance masks. And I also did not get any of the “fashion masks” many people wore. 😎

Was very smoky looking in the Concord area when I got off work today. Got home in Richmond and it wasn’t noticeable. I’ve lived in Concord, Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill and Martinez too. I don’t miss those places at all.

The fog came in tonight and it’s nice and cool here. No smoke smell either.
