Pleasant Hill Police To Host Virtual Community Meeting On Military Equipment

The Pleasant Hill Police Department will be hosting a virtual community meeting to answer questions or concerns and receive feedback regarding Assembly Bill 481 and the equipment we currently use.

We have uploaded our department’s policy and current specialized or military equipment list to our website’s transparency portal in accordance with AB 481. Specialized or Military Equipment Policy | Pleasant Hill, CA – Official Website (pleasanthillca.org)

The Community Meeting includes:

• Definition of military equipment
• PHPD’s specialized or military equipment inventory
• PHPD’s proposed equipment funding, acquisition and use policy
• PHPD’s annual report
• Community engagement and public access to materials

wish it was a rummage sale…

What about hand grenades’ and missile launcher’s? …..they might come in handy

There used to be a military surplus and other junk store in downtown Walnut Creek that sold hand grenades and shoulder mounted rocket launchers. It was on the west side of N. Main Street between Bonanza and Civic.

…. don’t think they’ll need an Abrahms or an A-10….but maybe most everything else given what perps are coming up with

I would not mind a ride along in an A-10….. LOL

only concern is that they get the tools to do their job and if it means “scary things” “Boo friggen hoo” then by all means get them the tools.
