Northern California Home Depot Theft Ring Busted – Multiple Suspects Arrested

An alleged retail theft ring that spanned the Bay Area was disrupted when four people were arrested, the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday.
The “high impact takedown” targeted a ring that was allegedly tied to 200 Home Depot thefts and more than $92,000 in stolen merchandise, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Four people were arrested Tuesday during coordinated raids in Richmond, San Leandro and South San Francisco. The suspects allegedly crisscrossed the state stealing power tools, pliers, blades and saws from Home Depot stores from Sacramento to Santa Cruz.
“Detectives estimate the group caused more than $68,000 in losses this year alone,” said the Sheriff’s Office, “often committing numerous thefts in a single day before reselling the stolen items at flea markets in Oakland and San Jose.”
The investigation began in February after Home Depot tipped off detectives.
On Tuesday, stolen merchandise was recovered along with narcotics, and a storage unit in South San Francisco yielded more than 1,000 items taken from Home Depot, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Arrested were two men from San Leandro, Daniel Resendiz, 21, and Jose Martinez, 28. Also taken into custody were Adolfo Herrera, 45, of Richmond, and Wilmer Ayala, 43, of South San Francisco.
All were booked into jail on suspicion of grand theft, retail theft, receiving stolen property and conspiracy. Herrera was also wanted for a probation violation, the Sheriff’s Office said.
The coordinated investigation also involved the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office and the California Highway Patrol.

Anyone notice that it’s not Home Depot anymore its The Home Depot now?.Something else they changed when you werent looking. And they have changed the global map too they admit, with so many calling it out saying the earth isnt even round(they dont admit.).When did South Africa stick so far out into the Atlantic btw? They even said recently on a “science show” on tv that the earth is really more of a pear shape, big at the bottom and small at the top and not really round.Does it seem like they are just making stuff up as they go???Distraction and changes………..

I don’t have a dog in this fight but here is an article about The Home Depot’s beginning back in 1979.

@whenwilltheylearn What are you babbling about?

4 suspects arrested and HD claims $92,000 in losses? That breaks down to only $23,000 each if thieves were getting 100% of that value but you know they’d be lucky to get about half that much at the friggin flea market. A lot of risk and a lot of work for not much money.

Rent is cheap when you live in a 2 bedroom apartment with 4 bunkbeds in each room 4 in the livingroom, and yes, they do live like this. They can live for a year on $10 k and mail the rest to their family that wont work and keeps having babies.
