ConFire is responding to an exterior fire in Arbolado Park at Arbolado Dr and Doncaster Dr, in Walnut Creek. The first unit on scene has requested a full vegetation fire response.

UPDATE: Forward progress has been stopped and the fire is contained. Crews are switching to mop up operations, which is expected to take some time. Last reported size was between 2.5 and 3 acres. Fire personnel are checking nearby residential areas, downwind.

No unhoused in that neighborhood. More likely kids or a discarded cigarette.

Stew – Not right there but a little farther north there is / was … LE has ousted them repeatedly but come back

Wondering, . . . . . how much newsom would spend on a
Homeless Fire Safety Outreach Program ? ? ?
$20 – $50 Million ? ?
