On May 6, Concord Police officers responded to a report of two individuals stabbed near Willow Pass Road and Market Street. Investigators quickly determined the incident stemmed from a dispute over gang-related graffiti.
Following an investigation by the CPD Violence Suppression Unit, detectives identified 25-year-old Cristian Cobos and 22-year-old Ramon Cobos, brothers from Fairfield, as the suspects. With help from Fairfield Police, both men were arrested Tuesday morning and a search warrant was executed at their residence. On Wednesday, the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office filed attempted murder charges against both suspects.
