Join the City of Walnut Creek on Monday, May 26 at 11:00 a.m. in Civic Park for the annual Memorial Day ceremony honoring those who gave their lives in service to our country. The program includes remarks from Mayor Cindy Darling, a keynote address by retired Air Force Colonel Joe Tringe, and a special appearance by WWII D-Day veteran Jake Larson. Patriotic music will be performed by the Walnut Creek Concert Band, with a ceremonial flag-lowering and Taps to follow at the Veterans Memorial outside City Hall. This free, public event welcomes all who wish to pay tribute to our fallen heroes.
