Buying lottery ticket although I know that there is a 100% chance that I won’t hit the jackpot and small winning amount won’t offset the cost of buying the tickets. Oh well, I budget $10/month on lottery so I guess it doesn’t really hurt to dream.

You can’t win if you don’t play. 🙂

if you don’t play, you neither win or lose. If you play, you definitely will lose. 😝

Not definitely. I think someone just won $25,000,000 with a Super Lotto ticket because now the pot is back to $9,000,000. I buy Power Balls and Super Lottos once in a while and spend $10, just like you. People win these all the time….just not me (yet).

I won a 4 out of 5 on Fantasy 5 once…. almost $500 payout and I know two people who won multi million $$$ Super Lotto jackpots (separate wins a few years apart) they were not close friends of mine I’m sorry to say, just acquaintances….. but the point is, somebody has to win!

Oh, and habits? Posting on Claycord…. I’m trying to cut down.
Damn! Did it again.

Somebody eventually win, so you have a slight chance. I like you keep my spending to a minimum usually $5.00 a month. I rarely buy Superlotto, Mega ect. I have switched to Scratcher ticket, there’s one right now for $5.00 where you can win $500.000. I usually win something that justifies continue playing. I recently won $50.00 and often a free ticket or $20.00. Last year within a month period I won $225.00 on two tickets. One for $100.00 and the other $125.00. A few month ago that ticket was not available so I bought another one, it was kind of confusing, couldn’t tell if I won, didn’t think I did, but when I had them scan at the store I had won $25.00.

Being too independent. Not a bad habit really, a personality trait. Had to be growing up. Called aloof for that reason at times. When teaching and handling business in life, I’m in my niche. A downside would be too much self reliance at times.

I am trying to stop putting sugar in my morning coffee.
I’m on day 9, … it’s a start, …Right??

I cannot drink coffee or tea without sugar. I mostly drink tea, always with breakfast, but I like it very strong. I you are trying to cut down on sugar Trulia is a good substitute, not too much of an aftertaste, or you can add a little sugar. For some reason when I drink coffee the different sugar substitutes don’t have an aftertaste, could be because I add a fair amount to cream. I rarely drink coffee at home, usually when I’m driving long distance I stop at a Starbucks or a 7-11, or similar for coffee. The Starbucks at SunValley closed down, so no coffee when I’m working late.

Scrounging spent brass at the range.
I really don’t need anymore
rarely find anything I’ll use

but every once in a while

I curse too much. Just my natural/normal way of speaking, and I need to get in my mind to curtail it. No harm, no foul, nobody gets injured or their feelings hurt, I just recognize it as a bad habit.

Stopping at stop signs.
Responsible driving in my neighborhood is completely out of style.
However, I hate to knuckle under to peer pressure, and I don’t drive a Rivian.
So I’ll continue with the bad yet courteous habit of stopping at stop signs.

I work at SunValley Mall, every day I see driver ignoring the Stop sign, even when there is a fair amount of traffic. Several months ago, I rolled through a Stop sign on Center Ave in Martinez, it was late a night no cars in sight, however there was a police car on the side street and I got pulled over. Because I had just renewed my insurance I didn’t have proof of insurance on me, he wrote me up for that. That ticket was only $25.00 if he had written me up for not stopping at the sign the ticket could have been as much as $400.00. I ALWAYS stop at Stop signs now.

Man, I will go out of of this world with my critical thinking side.

Not exercising enough. I used to jog 3 to 5 miles until my late fifties, and also worked out with weights. When I stopped jogging I changed to walking, when I lived in Benicia I walked in Benicia State Park 3 to 5 miles a week, and still worked out with weights. The past few years I had some back problems and that combined with being on my feet about 6 hours 4 times a week got me out of my exercise routine. I recently started again just about 20 to 30 minutes 4-5 times a week. I follow different programs on the computer, like Leslie Sansome walking at home, she has video’s on Utube anywhere from 15 minutes to 45 minutes, also some working out with resistance bands and light weights. I feel better, and my back is better, which is was before I started to exercise.
