Look at that, the ARCO gas station sign in North Concord is being used as a makeshift storage unit.

Lovely.

I was at a Peets in concord one morning and a homeless person was sitting inside dirty smelly with their bags surrounding them. Part of me feels bad for them but other part of me thinks they enjoy it and have no desire to get out of homelessness.
this person used to be someones child, now they are just another homeless person.

The homeless are hijacking every part of CA.
They’re allowed to live in parks, at gas stations, parking lots, in front of businesses, etc.
Soon they’ll be allowed to live on sidewalks in front of peoples’ homes.
We have to stop this and get these people off the streets and get them help!
There’s a creepy homeless guy living in his mini van at the Nature Park in Concord and the police refuse to do anything about it.
He curses loudly, smashes beer cans in the parking lot, BBQs, and goes to the bathroom in the park.

Thanks, Newscum🤡🐍

Empathy is one thing but to turn a blind eye & gaslighting people from the elected officials is unacceptable. The encampment around the 242 overpass & the open space has shrunk thankfully but still exists. These people steal vandalize & assault employees at all these businesses on Galaxy Way(I work in one of them!). There are plenty of abandoned businesses/warehouses in North Concord or even the old Naval Weapons base to utilize as a resource to offer all kinds of help so lets use some of those dollars from the outrageous tax rates charged to us & fix this issue!!!

No surprise, nothing is done about it. The advocates prevent any real solutions but collect $$$. Some people prefer living on the streets. Please don’t parrot anyone that says it’s due to high housing costs. It reduces the quality of life for all, I wish they would accept help. Be nice to have that money for education and infrastructure.

I pulled right into the Arco station from Farm Bureau road, got my gas, got back out and on my way. The homeless freight train of crap doesn’t interfere with anything I’m doing or does it bother me I just ignore it.

This is the ARCO at the Solano exit but I guess they are all unmanaged and maybe woke. The employees don’t dare do anything beyond cash register computed math.

So many experts
so what’s your solution?
You keep saying someone should be doing something
what exactly would you do differently?
Be specific and realistic.

First defund all the homeless nonprofit organizations. Then you take the billions of tax dollars and build let say 100 room shelters in counties throughout California. They should have laundry and electricity. Mabey serve couple of simple meals a day. Once the shelters are up and running the homeless will no longer be allowed to sleep on the streets. laws will be enforced. The homeless will have 3 choices. go to the shelter, go to jail or get out of town. This would be expensive, but we are already wasting billions of dollars and nothing is working.

involuntary commitment to secure mental facilities using money that instead would be paying for ANYTHING for illegals,.and for them to have more babies in the USA intentionally.

Remember that not all homeless are mental cases or addictive drug users. The rest are often just down on their luck or being crushed by the establishment (the establishment will get around to crushing you soon enough). We have “rogue establishment” not “rogue homeless” the latter are just a symptom of the former.

its not the 50’s anymore but its nice to romanticize..its %99 mental illness/drug addiction/alcohol abuse. There are no “down on luck’ ers anymore or “hookers with a heart of gold”….its all dopers.

The citrus need to rent box box trucks. Full the back with cheap booze and meth. Lure them in, shut the cargo door, drive to Reno and let them out. Repeat, repeat

Well, Newscum had a plan to deal with this homeless crap years ago when he was running for mayor of SF. Never made much progress after being elected mayor. Now, after spending $24 Billion over the past 5 years the state can’t account for most of it. WTF!!!

Good report by Victor Davis Hanson on what’s wrong with California. We need to take back this state from the wacko “dems”.

Is that stuff still there? The city should just throw it in the back of a trash truck – 5 min. max … done!

90 seconds.

At the Exxon at Willow Pass and East St there was a filthy passed out blob 2 feet from the store entrance.Concord is mostly lawless. When i was there i looked at the huge section 8 buliding project across the street and wondered why thew 2 tome paint job want enpugh, they are doing very expensive brick facade cosmetic work that is pointless..why?Nothing structural, all looks, and brickwork is not cheap.

“2 tone paint job wasnt enough” sorry..
