Yes. Since it is not their money, They have a responsibility to make sure public funds are use in a worthy manner. Being transparent and honest about how it is used. But we know that will never happen as long as those in leadership are liberal and liars

Absolutely! … at a minimum they can & be dismissed and sued for negligence with public funding. If it isn’t it needs to be a criminal offense. Where’s Newsom? Let’s get a line going ……….

There should be some form of accountability.. Just plain stupidity should lead to loss of position. Any criminal action should have legal consequences..

Hell yes!!!!!

You mean like our glorious Bay Bridge that was a complete waste of money and could’ve been complete 8-10 years before it was. Why did we have to have a “big beautiful bridge” when all we needed was for them to complete the causeway to the tunnel and it would’ve been done for a fraction of the money spent.

Consequences? That’s what elections are for, unless the misconduct was criminal.

And Democrat voters are going to punish them by reelecting them and making them do it over and over until they get it right …..as if they ever could.

Tared and feathered sounds good to me.

Yes. We want responsible people in charge of money that belongs to the people and if they are poor with money skills then they should not have any part in it. If the normal person screws up at their job and squanders the company’s money they get fired or the company goes out of business. So the same thing for any gov. local, regional or federal. my opinion only

Who gets to decide what mismanagement is?
It’s already to the point where only
the weird even want these jobs
why make it worse?

We don’t have any leaders.
We have placeholders with opinions.

Yes, I think that would bring some accountability back into politics. Gavin Newsom would be locked up for a long time.
