The Contra Costa County Coroner’s Office identified one of the two drivers killed in a two-vehicle crash last week on state Highway 4 in Brentwood. Gabriel Biadgi, 34, of Antioch, drove one of the vehicles that appeared to crash head-on in the eastbound lane of Highway 4, creating what the California Highway Patrol called a dangerous battery fire in one of the vehicles. The CHP was called at 10:18 p.m. on May 21 to the scene near Fairview Avenue. The crash blocked all lanes east of Balfour Road, with the CHP saying the danger associated with the electric vehicle’s battery being on fire precluded officers from approaching the burning vehicle for at least an hour. Authorities still haven’t released the identity of the other driver who died in the crash.
Good deal for EV drivers. If you’re stuck in your car on fire…you’re cooked for an hour.Wow,that gasoline sure is evil.
25 Years later…….and they still WON’T install a divider between the Eastbound and Westbound lanes!! You people paying all of those taxes on those mega mansions out there need to SPEAK UP!!!
