Recurring Nightmare: Fast & Easy Liquor On Treat Blvd In Concord Targeted In Yet Another Smash-and-Grab

Locally owned and operated Fast & Easy Liquor, located at 4475 Treat Blvd. in Concord (behind Togo’s near Clayton Road), was hit once again early Wednesday morning in what’s become a devastating pattern of repeated break-ins. Around 3:30 a.m., surveillance footage shows a Lexus SUV reversing into the front of the business, smashing through the glass doors, windows, and storefront frame. Moments later, five individuals casually entered the store and began ransacking it. The group stole thousands of dollars in cash and a significant amount of merchandise, according to the owner. They remained inside for roughly 10 minutes before police arrived on scene. This marks at least the fourth time the store has been burglarized in the past year. The owner placed bars on the windows to deter the criminals, but they keep coming. He also has an alarm system and surveillance cameras. The financial impact from this latest incident is particularly severe, as the owner reports that most of the damage and losses are not covered by insurance, leaving him with substantial out-of-pocket costs. The business has become a frequent target of organized smash-and-grab thefts, and the repeated attacks have taken a serious toll. Concord Police are actively investigating. Anyone with information is urged to contact the department.

Despite the damage, the store remains open for business. If you’d like to help them get back on their feet, they’ve set up a GoFundMe account. You can access the account by clicking on THIS LINK.

Wow, the best thing we can do is go and summer stock all your liquor and beer and wine to give them a shot in the arm of revenue.

The store should remove the atm before it get yanked.

10 mins for cops to show up at 330am? That’s pathetic, also pathetic is they found 1000’s of dollars in cash.
It’s been smashing grab so many times repeatedly why is there thousands of dollars in cash inside the store when they aren’t even open?

Obviously not Korean Shop owners.
These might help: https://www.idealshield.com/the-6-most-popular-types-of-bollards/

My local Waffle House just put up bollards. I asked my waitress, and she said that the after-midnight crowd frequently has navigation issues.

Next move would to put up some Parking ballards in front of the store

Store owner..teach Concord a lesson.go to a town that has law and order.Concord is the new (new)San Francisco.Maybe they can tear down the shopping center and put in more section 8 apartment projects. This is the only direction Concord is going.

The people that are doing this just live 1000 feet away on Bel-air drive.

It’s still a commute.

Probably change the name of the store.
Sounds too robbable.

It is suggestive….

When the” welcome to Concord” sign said” population 98,500″ in 1998,and says now “population 115.000”,you know you have a city that is not honest or forthcoming in anyway and does everything to hide the fact that there is 200,000 people in Concord, and along with this, they act like it’s crime free and going to a smash and grab is something they never do,so pardon us for taking 10 minutes to show up,we thought this was just a law abiding well managed honest city. They enable crime and encourage illegals in Concord, and the 2 are the exact same subject.thing.They will never allow a conservative what male to be chief of police. The town would be transfomed into cleanliness and behavior. The courts and jails would be overloaded though, with so many frivilous race based cases pending already, always filing against the caucasians, dismissing or not filing on minorties, they are merely victims acting out they say….,so it will never ever happen

I remember when that part of Concord was a really nice area.

That was before 1984 when the southern flood hit all of California. The amnesty program was used a reason to flood the country, when it wasn’t designed or meant to work that way,but some people when you try to help,if you give them an inch they take 1000 miles.Reagan tried to help a few that had real reason, and all their relatives just came and plundered California, and have never stopped.
%95 of the people that came int California in 84 and after were never supposed to come here.
When you flood and country with lawless people, you have so destroyed the quailty of life in a once great country.Fact.

Not anymore…

Yes, but then the farms & orchards were sold and the tract houses were built.

All too common nowadays. If they’ve been hit several times before, why are they leaving that much cash easily accessible? The vermin were only in the place for four minutes, and obviously didn’t have to work too hard for the money! If you’re going to leave cash in a store like that, think about getting a heavy safe, locating it away from the entrance, and bolting it to the floor. GoFundMe? Not a chance. I used to go in there regularly for lottery tickets and beer. The last few times, the cashier was extremely rude and seemed to look down on everyone who came to the register. If you don’t care about me as a customer? I don’t care about you as a merchant.

It doesn’t matter where I shop anymore, I still feel like I’m being robbed.

Sad. Sorry for the owner.
