Depend on that what you like. Social media (especially FB) keeps a record of your activity and suggests videos base on the record; for example if you like to watch video that make you angry, you will many videos that make you even more angry.
Right now, social media contents are unregulated so there are so many videos with violence, sexual innuendo, ect on fb. I hope that there will be a bill that regulate content on social media; you know, like that how to regulate motion pictures.

Golden rule of social media, “Tweet others the way you want to be tweeted.”

I don’t use any social media, so I don’t know what information people are hearing. But judging from what I see and hear in real life, it seems to me that a lot of people on both sides are not getting the whole truth, especially on the Left. To constantly criticize our President, and never have anything positive to report, will certainly make some people angry. But why? Because they are lacking in common sense. People with common sense don’t get angry, they want to hear both sides of the argument. They would realize the constant criticizing has to be BS, and the Dems are definitely lacking in the common sense dept. That doesn’t necessarily mean the GOP is always right, just like the Left, they are known to exaggerate, take things out of context and embellish their reporting, but I see more of it coming from the Left than from the Right. I get most of my information from an unbiased news source, and it certainly is not from social media, MSBC, FOX, or CNN. I might watch some of them for entertainment, but not for unbiased news.

Don’t use social media, consider it a waste of time.
Only time cellphone is turned on is for brokerage
security pass code, to complete logon.

Good or bad it provides the pulse of the public given the target audience of the medium.

I read on the socials that Medicare and Social Security programs have been ended by the current administration! That is making people angry! See what I did there.. 🙂

It’s not a matter of either/or. The more I learn about the things I didn’t realize was happening (everywhere) the angrier I get.

Both – some people “hide” behind social media – some actually use it for their true / real feelings to be let out and heard …. but lots to learn from others and being able to understand others’ beliefs and perspectives on issues

For some posters it is about the click count. Get enough clicks and you can monetize it.

angrier and more stupid

The more informed people get,the angrier those that get informed on get.

Less informed and angrier. People (especially over the age of 50) seem to take everything at face value and have zero sense to (or even little to no concern with) actually vet information or look beyond the surface of what’s being said. It’s incredibly infuriating as someone who studied basic statistics and was pushed during the entirety of my education to research, study, and discover all the ways to interpret data and information with sources in mind. Now my parents and people their age are reading one angry, false Facebook post after another and making it their entire personality.

Only need to look at the millions of
immunologists and pandemic experts
that suddenly sprang up during Covid
to see the lack of value
of everyone having their voice heard.
‘Dumber’ is my answer. 🧐

Considering immunologists and pandemic experts that sprang up, who is currently the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services?

Oohhh! I know this one!
Brain worm guy and noted dumba$$!

Probably both. I often see comments that are wrong or outright lying, if comments are allowed I will comment. Not that it makes a difference, sometimes on a Facebook page I will get into a back and forth. It is especially true of one musicians fan page that I frequent, much unfair criticism is aimed at that person. However, due to social media you can also find out more about a subject or person than ever. You have to be careful, because there’s a lot of misinformation and outright lies.
