I bet the owner is going to get a citation ticket from the Bay Area Air Quality Management District. They fined me for a little yard fire that started on its own…but was put out.. I think they use cameras to scan the skies for any plume of smoke and then go into try to collect fines. They’re kind of a terrorist organization

I suspect they were very “authoritarian” to you? Seems that every government official thinks they are a cop these days and have long forgotten they are “public servants.” But I have argued with them in the past and won.

agree Captain … – I took the director of the AQMD to task one day over their subjective criteria in calling a Spare the Air day – she bumbled and fumbled & wound up yelling at me one day on the phone without being able to cite ANY objective criteria used including PurpleAir (or similar)

When I look at the truck, it looks as if the truck bed is full of something that is on fire. Loading a truck with items , maybe things they were selling at the flee market. They heat up fast piled in the back in this heat. Could have been the reason for the fire. The rest of you should limit your comments to the political section.
