It saddens me when grown adults use FB, YouTube, Instagram, etc for new sources instead of legitimate Newsweek, Politico and other non/minimal bias news publications. So why do ICE agents wear masks? Well could it be because people are attempting to identify them and then the ICE agent family members are being threatened/harassed? it is also a fairly common practice in highly sensitive law enforcement activities. Are you complaining because the undercover agent covers their face when they make the bust? Or when the agent who bought th drugs during a sting wears a mask to prevent identification from the bad actors?
I know I know, you all say you were a mask during the Covid protests because you were told to wear a mask – umm, you all were masks (and not N95’s!) because you were afraid of identification and/or retribution. So why can you wear a mask to ‘protect’ yourself but they cannot?
I have an idea, if you are afraid of the mask, don’t do a crime. If you are already guilty of illegally crossing the border, get out before the masked people come and take you away. If you are guilty of harboring, helping an illegal, be afraid of the masked people because they will come for you as well – as they should!

Back in the 1980s I read a book called “Human Scale” by Kirkpatrick Sale. He predicted that things would get so out-of-hand that we could no longer manage government. We’re there now. Politicians have been so litigious for special interests that it has made for unacceptable complexity. The solution is to simplify things but I don’t see that happening by any re-design. Instead more likely the country will collapse into another third-world barrio. But that might be a good thing.

Also, just because they took an oath to “protect and defend” the Constitution doesn’t mean that they’ve ever read or understand the Constitution. Almost 100% of federal, state, and local government elected, appointed, and civil service employees have NEVER read and don’t understand what’s in the U.S. Constitution or their State Constitution that they’ve all taken an oath to protect and defend. You should check out some of the thousands of internet videos where peace officers claim it’s illegal to film/record in public and don’t know the difference between public property and private property.
