These badges were given away back in the 1980s by the Concord Police Department’s own Officer Friendly.
Due to budget cuts, we don’t believe Officer Friendly has a job anymore, but the Concord Police do pass out stickers to little kids, and they’re friendly while they do it.
Does anybody else still have one of these?

I do!!!
I remember these … they would stop you in your car or wherever when they thought you were being a good citizen and give this to you. I was in my 20s then. I was always hoping I would get one…but alas, I never did.
I didn’t know there was really an “Officer Friendly”.
The only one I ever heard of was the Officer Friendly I saw in an X rated cartoon done by Trey Parker & Matt Stone (South Park) called “The Adventures of Princess” about a little Lhasa Apso dog who wanders into outrageous naked human situations.
Only two episodes were made “Princess Hears A Strange Noise” and “Princess Meets Officer Friendly”.
The Police are called by husband after he accidentally kills his wife during oral sex and Officer Friendly responds.
Probably the funniest cartoon ever made but it’s nearly impossible to find now.
