Since 1994
Born and grew up in San Francisco, moved here in 1982 when my late wife and I bought
a home.
Born in CoCo county 70+ years ago.
Since 1978.
21 years this coming February.
Born in Southern California and came here to CCC at 3 years old.
Parents moved back to Martinez to be closer to Family.
I was born in Tracy, California. College in Texas, Walnut Creek, Associates and Humphreys. Moved here from Alameda and San Joaquin County. Lived in Texas, North Carolina, Colorado and always my California.
Uncle and family were in Contra Costa County for years, was always in Concord and Walnut Creek with family sine youth
Long enough to remember when the people were friendly and considerate.

All my life…. born in Kaiser Hospital Walnut Creek.
I won’t tell you my exact age but I confess that I can order off the senior menu at Denny’s.
Yep… I’ve been here since my 1st day outside the womb and I wish all you uninvited left wing hippies would go back to the big cities you came from… and take that jewelry out of your nose! Please!
34 years. But having relatives in the Bay Area have visited here since the early 1950s.
Born here, 1960
Born and raised in SF. Moved to San Jose for a bit and then relocated back to SF. Moved to Kensington and commuted to Pleasant Hill to work for about a year. Very little traffic on Hwy 4 back then. Then moved to Martinez in 1986.
Since 1973.
1975 – 50 years.
Moved to Concord in 1974, to Clayton 3 years later.
since 1961
Moved to Lamorinda area from NY in 1994, and came out to Claycord in 1997. Hard to believe!
75 years of my 78 years of life……. so far!
I have been in CCC since 1969. Seen a lot of good things happen, but seen a lot of bad things as well.
Entire life–62 yrs.
Moved to WC 1968. Concord 92. We’ve had a good run. Diving biking hiking camping. Skiing shooting wine tasting cooking. Built a backyard sanctuary. Enjoy a variety of the finest music. Books galore. I have loved living here. I have grieved the loss of the old ways. It’s a good life. I am glad to live here. We have a front row seat watching the Wonder and the horror unfolding. 🍻 I will fight for my small corner of this world. Quiet and steady she goes. 🙂
Far far far too long
45 years.. back when people had responsibility, were cordial and had respect for one another… and the population was in synch with the infrastructure that was built … now it’s out of control – over populated for infrastructure designed and built in the ’60’s & ’70’s
Born in SF in ’60; grew up in Marin County until ’81 when I moved to Concord, then to Pleasant Hill, back to Concord for a quick year and bought my house in ’87 in Martinez where I still reside.
