Thanks to “Martinez Guy” for these great photos, which show the old Nation’s on Contra Costa Blvd. in Pleasant Hill.
It was located next to a lot with a small burrito place (also pictured). Across the street was a Grand Auto store. This stood on Contra Costa Blvd. near where Crescent Plaza is currently located.
Anybody remember what it was before it was Nation’s?
Thanks again to “Martinez Guy”!

If memory serves me correctly, the Mexican Burritos location was an Italian take-out joint prior to it being Mexican food. Shopped at the Grand Auto store across the street many times.
Grand Auto then became the first Monument Auto parts.Because it was at the very end of Monument. Then then changed the name to Monument car parts.
“Then they”
Son and I used to stop there for breakfast then catch freeway down to
Good Guys car show. Quit going because some Barney Fife ticketed
between 60 – 85 cars in parking area.
imho – that one is ok food wise but service lacking…. the one on Clayton Rd is much better
