Bay Area Air District Extends Air Quality Advisory Through Monday Due To Wildfire Smoke

An air quality advisory for wildfire smoke has been extended through Monday, air district officials said. The advisory was previously issued on Sunday by the Bay Area Air District, due to smoke drifting through the region from fires in Canada and Alaska. On Monday, smoky and hazy skies may linger over the region and air quality may be unhealthy, air district officials said. The amount and location of smoke at ground level is hard to predict and conditions can change rapidly.

Skies overhead were deep blue today with only some areas with haze. Guess the tic-tac-toe crews have been slacking. Bet they’ll be out tomorrow. 😎
